Our Pressure Sensor Calibration Procedure

Garber Metrology offers on-site and off-site calibration services. Our on-site services mean we visit your facility for added convenience. Calibration technicians can come to you throughout our service area. Off-site calibration services happen at our certified facilities. We provide sealed, absolute, gage and differential pressure sensor calibration, with measurements up to 20,000 psi and an accuracy of up to 0.008%.

Here’s an overview of our calibration process:

1. Preparation: Before we begin calibrating your pressure sensor, we identify the type of instrument and the range it measures. We set up our calibration equipment and check the sensor’s condition for any evident damage.
2. Calibration: Once we prepare for calibration, we test your instruments using our equipment. Our teams may use various methods, including linearity calibration, which involves testing at multiple points within the operating range to ensure a linear relationship.
3. Temperature compensation: If the sensor is temperature-sensitive, we account for temperature variations, which allows us to provide more accurate calibration.
4. Documentation: We record all data, including reference pressures, sensor outputs, and adjustments made. Following calibration, we generate a Certificate of Calibration.
